Is this the year music died? Well, unfortunately this year we sadly lost quite a few celebrities. Amongst those were some very talented musicians. Here's some of those musicians: DAVID BOWIE- In January we lost a  music legend. Over 50 years in the music industry. An amazing & very talented man GLENN FREY- Co-Founder of the band THE EAGLES  PAUL KANTER- Founding member of the band JEFFERSON AIRPLANE MAURICE WHITE- Founder of EARTH, WIND & FIRE KEITH EMERSON- The keyboardist who co-founded EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER PHIFE DAWG-Founding member of: A TRIBE CALLED QUEST PRINCE- Another Legend. As some of you may or not know I'm a fan of Cubase. Ive used the software  for many years now. Last week Steinberg were back with their latest version of Cubase: Cubase 9. The good thing is is that Steinberg listen to their users to find out what they would like in the next version. Here are some of the new features: 'LOWER ZONE' VIEW -You can have the mix console, midi or audio editors incorporated into the project window. (The 'Lower Zone' is resizable) SAMPLER TRACK HISTORY FUNCTION- You can now undo & redo in the 'Mixconsole' FREQUENCY EQ- A brand new EQ with piano  roll Cubase 9 comes with features too I have to say i may probably upgrade to Cubase 9 next year. So far 2 of the new features that i mainly like is the: History Function' (Mixconsole) & new 'Frequency EQ'. Anybody tried Cubase 9? A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File  Key Commands  Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously.
