THE STANDING GRAND?

How about an 'Inside Out piano'? A what? A standing Grand Piano. Sarah Nicolls is a very talented experimental pianist from the UK. As a pianist she has been asked to play the piano plucking the strings (inside) etc. So Sarah invented the 'Vertical Grand Piano'.  Her company 'Future Piano' are hoping to design & build a 'vertical' Grand Piano that is also lightweight (around 82 kgs). I do kinda like this idea. Its certainly different & probably take up less room, lol. Hi! Everyone,   This weeks FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK is the  multi-talented JORDAN PIER from the instrumental band LEAVING RICHMOND 1. My name is Jordan Pier.  I live in Los Angeles and I helm the instrumental music project, leaving richmond. 2.I’ve had a deep love for music for as long as I can remember.  Particularly soundtracks and scores. Anything that let me come up with my own mental imagery while listening.  My first real foray into playing music was in my elementary school band with the alto sax.  There was a public access jazz station in NY I that I used to love so that’s probably why I chose that instrument. 3. I am proficient in guitar and I can handle myself on keyboards.  I bet I could play a few tunes if I picked up a sax again too.   4. There’s an electronic artist by the name Bonobo who is a constant source of inspiration for me.  Nine Inch Nails has left an indelible mark on my ear as has composers like Jon Brian, Cliff Martinez and Clint Mansell.
