ALBUM UPDATE (Part 2)

Hello everyone. Just thought I would give a quick update of what's been happening. Over the past few months I've been recording a few guitar parts, recording vocals, doing a few rough mixes etc. I've still got more guitar & vocals to record. During this time I've been coming up with a few more ideas for songs. I will keep you all posted as to what's happening.   Thankyou to all of you for your patience :)   Law You can find me on: Reverbnation Facebook   Posted with Blogsy

Drums-Will I be satisfied?

The past few days I've been working on a new song. This time I started with the drum beat. I have to say at the time I was fairly happy with the drums. However as the song is progressing I'm not sure I like the drums anymore :( Typical. So what kind of drums do I want? Well put it this way I have tried various different drum beats and still not satisfied. (I will admit this isn't the first time this happened. Oh no). I will try a drum beat, like it with the song for around 10 minutes and then say: " That's it. Don't like them. Don't work".   I'm sure over the next few days I will be looking at other different ideas. I may even find one I like :)  www.reverbnation.com/lawmusic5 www.twitter.com/law_wood

As a child in the early 80s i was brought up on listening to Vinyl records and cassette tapes. At an early age i loved listening to music. I remember listening to the band Queen (plus various other 70's bands and artists). Queen were probably the first band that i liked. During this time i remember being in my grandad's car and for the first time seeing a 8 track cartridge (The album was by Acker Bilk. Clarinet player). I have to say i only ever heard 8 track cartridges in my  grandad's car. As it got toward the late 80's i was brought my first ever cassette player. As with vinyl records the cassette player became very popular. How many of you remember recording music with a cassette player? lol. Also the fact that you could easily fast forward or rewind to find the song you wanted to play. However, sometimes this did not work as it sho
