However, I did finally release my ' Miami 1984' EP which i'm very pleased about (Featuring a song with the talented songwriter Niamh Quinn).  Hi! Everyone & welcome back to my blog. A new live entertainment venue opened last month called: THE SPHERE in Las Vegas. The first performer in residency is the band U2. THE SPHERE are planning between 4- 6 residencies a year. You may have seen the LED display around the outside (which looks very spectacular). Lets talk about the state-of-the -art sound-system known as 'Sphere Immersive Sound' (powered by 'Holoplot').  This is the worlds most advanced concert-grade audio system. The venue is 160,000 square foot with around 17,500 seats.  The sphere features: 167,000 amplified loudspeaker drivers 1600 Hotpot loudspeaker modules (around the sphere) 3D Beam Forming Sound etc ('Sphere Immersive Sound' I think was first used for the 'Beacon Theatre' on a smaller scale) This could be the future for live concert venues. The reason is because my brand new 'Miami 1984' EP was released 27th Sep.  I know its been a a few years since I've released an EP.  The EP features the singles: 'Prologue' & 'Summer Days'. It is the first film soundtrack to have 3 Top 5 songs in the UK charts simultaneously: 'Dance The Night'-DUA LIPA 'What Was I Made For?'- BILLIE EILISH 'Barbie World- NICKI MINAJ, AQUA & ICE SPICE It has 6 songs from the soundtrack in the Top 40  The first film soundtrack to score 3 Top 10 hits simultaneously was 'SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER' (1978). SUMMER DAYS- I know its been a while since i've released anything from the forthcoming 'Miami 1984' EP. It was No.1 in the UK charts. The song & video stood out to me. I like her performance in the video for that song. Another 2 songs that I really liked is when she sang the vocals for the trance song: 'Tears from the Moon (Tiesto in Search of Sunrise Remix)-CONJURE ONE & 'Troy (Push Remix)'. She released 10 albums over the years. Her most successful album; 'I do not want what I haven't got' in 1990.  Sinead was not afraid to speak out. I don't think it's easy to speak out. One of the versions now has the standalone option (which means you can run 'Live' without the computer.  Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my blog.  APPLE have announced that LOGIC PRO X is finally coming to iPad. It features; Over 100 instruments Effect Plugins (eg. EQ, Compressor, reverb etc) Synth (Including 'Sample Alchemy') Beat Making Tools (including 'Beat Designer') Mixer Multi-Touch Import & Export It does look really good. However, it is only available on subscription. It's around £4.99 per month or £49 per year.  Hmmmm! I don't think I'll be getting that anytime soon. Its a shame that Apple have decided to choose subscription for it.  KORG have announced a limited edition of the KORG MICROKORG to celebrate 20 years of when it was first released. This is the 'Microkorg Crystal'. The chassis is semi-transparent. It does look really nice. I have played a Microkorg in the past. Price is around €539. (Units could be available in a few months). UDO are back & have announced their second synth called  'SUPER GEMINI'

WAVES AUDIO announced that their plugins would be subscription only.After reading comments from loyal users of waves plugins who lets say were not very happy, waves changed their tune & decided to bring perpetual licenses back (as well as a subscription).Yes, there will still be a waves subscription but perpetual licenses will be coming back.   I'll be honest i've not used Waves plugins for many years now. Some of the plugins I did like.  It was the mid 90s & I was on my way to college. I had created a mixtape for the car. One of the songs was 'Insomnia'-FAITHLESS. It kinda stood out to me.
