EVEN MORE GEAR!

After January's NAMM show it's now been this year's MUSIKMESSE. So what did MUSIKMESSE have in store for us this year?

Here's a few highlights:

  • AKAI RHYTHM WOLF- A drum machine & bass synth. 32 step sequencer. MPC Pads etc.
  • ROLAND SYSTEM-1 - This is part of the Aira collection. A plug out synth. I have to say it does looking interesting. I would like to try this synth to find out what is capable of.
  • MFB DOMINION 1- A 37 key Analog synth. Arpeggiator, sequencer, VCO's, LFO's etc. This synth has got some good features.

BARBIE SOUNDTRACK! SUMMER DAYS? NEXG GUITAR!

Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my music blog. As you may be aware the 'BARBIE' movie was released last month (July 2023). The soundtrack is a recordbreaker. It is the first film soundtrack to have 3 Top 5 songs in the UK charts simultaneously: 'Dance The Night'-DUA LIPA 'What Was I Made For?'- BILLIE EILISH 'Barbie World- NICKI MINAJ, AQUA & ICE SPICE It has 6 songs from the soundtrack in the Top 40  The first film soundtrack to score 3 Top 10 hits simultaneously was 'SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER' (1978). SUMMER DAYS- I know its been a while since i've released anything from the forthcoming 'Miami 1984' EP. Everyone, this week's FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK is the very talented  singer-songwriter, musician  & producer JELLY CLEAVER JELLY CLEAVER Please introduce yourself I’m a singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist and producer. I’m also an activist and this really influences my music and the lyrics I write. I love lots of different genres so have quite an eclectic style and like to throw myself into different music scenes.
