TECHNOLOGY... GREAT WHEN IT WORKS!

Today technology seems to be a necessity for most people. We kind of depend on technology a lot. These days you buy eg a laptop, smartphone etc & after about a week or so it becomes old hat.

With any technology you want it to work. Most of us that own any kind of technology know how frustrating it can be when it don't work. That moment when you are working on something important & then your PC, laptop etc and then it completely crashes. You've pressed Ctrl/ Alt/ Delete for the millionth time & still NOTHING happens. To add to it you have'nt saved all your work up until this point. This is when you sometimes ending up pulling the plug & starting the computer again. This has happened to me over the past few months. A few times the computer was overheated & the other day was a plugin that was working properly & completely crashed Cubase & everything with it. Talk about being frustrated. Eventually after wasting time faffing about restarting the computer a few times etc I finally managed to get the plugin to work with Cubase.

Time does kinda get wasted when technology does'nt work. However, when technology does work it's great.

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File Key Commands Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. You can row by row.
