ONE ALBUM WONDERS?

A few bands & artists over the years have had just one album that has done really well. However, there was never a follow up album. Here are a few:

'Grace'- JEFF BUCKLEY (I remember when I first heard this album & played it on repeat at times. It's a beautiful album. Tragically BUCKLEY died in 1997 after an accidental drowning. It was such a shame because he was a very talented musician)
'Since I left You'- THE AVALANCHES (This was released in 2000. The album contained around 3,500 vinyl samples. 2 of the most popular songs were: 'Frontier Psychartrist' & 'Since I left you')
'The La's'- THE LA'S (The most famous song on the album was 'There she goes' in 1988. John Power leaves as the bass player & forms the band CAST)
'The Lexicon of Love'- ABC (This album was released in 1982. The 2 most famous songs: 'Look of Love (Part 1) & 'Poison Arrow'. Produced by Trevor Horn)
'Never mind the B*******. Here's the Sex Pistols'- THE SEX PISTOLS ( The band only really lasted 2 1/2 years. The album was released in 1977)
'Them Crooked Vultures'- THEM CROOKED VULTURES (A rock supergroup, Dave Grohl- NIRVANA & FOO FIGHTERS, John Paul Jones-former member of LED ZEPPLIN & JOSH HOMME- QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Released the album 2009. There has been talks of another album)

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File Key Commands Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. You can row by row. If you've ever heard a song & thought "Hold on, I recognise some of this". Maybe that's because the song you are listening to contains a sample of another song.
