SUMMER NAMM 2016...MORE GEAR!

Last week saw Summer Namm 2016 take place. Here are a few pieces of gear that was announced:


  • GIG GEAR THERMO GLOVES & ONYX- When working in Live Events, Theater etc there are times when you could be working in a very cold environment. As well as protecting music equipment your hands could be protected too. These gloves are designed for: Production Crew  , Roadies , DJ's & musicians etc. They also work with touchscreen etc. I think this is a very good idea

  • SE ELECTRONICS RF PRO- I have to admit i am a fan of SE Electronics & have been a few years now. This is the '10th Anniversary' (Red Edition). I have the original version in my studio & have to say i use it most of the time for vocals. I really like it

  • DAVE SMITH INSTRUMENTS OB-6 MODULE- Last year the OB-6 Analogue Synth was introduced. This is the desktop (module) version of that. 2 Modules can be chained together to create 12 voices polyphony. Looks a very powerful synth. Hopefully i will get to try this synth sometime
Also announced were new Guitars, Drums, Mics, Pre-amps etc

GRANDE ARTIST?

ARIANA GRANDE is no stranger to the charts. Recently ARIANA managed to get the top 1, 2 & 3 spots on the billboard top 100 charts simultaneously. The last time this happened was in 1964 by THE BEATLES who got all 5 top spots. At the moment 11 songs from her album 'Thank you, Next' album are in the top 40. (The only song from the album that hasn't made the top 40 is 'Make up'). DRAKE nearly managed this when 2 of his songs were at spots 1 & 2 & 4 simultaneously. MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR! THANK YOU!

 Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my music blog. Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me & my music over the past year. A huge thank you to everyone who has read this blog, streamed/ purchased my music, continued to support me etc😃😃.  I'll be honest its been very tough year for me due to personal reasons. However, I did finally release my ' Miami 1984' EP which i'm very pleased about (Featuring a song with the talented songwriter Niamh Quinn).
