HEARING HEALTH SCHEME FOR MUSICIANS!

If you are a musician you know how important your ears are. Performing at live concerts etc can be very loud. The last thing anybody wants is to damage their hearing by being exposed to deafening music.

The Musicians' Hearing Health scheme will allow musicians to affordable hearing assessments & bespoke hearing protection.

If you interested you will have to pay around £40 (£30 for Musician Union members). The assessments will take place in various cities in the UK. More details on the Help Musicians UK website

As a musician i think this a good idea. I think its very important that you protect your ears whenever you can, using earplugs, ear defenders etc

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File Key Commands Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. You can row by row. PEDAL STEEL SYNTH?

Synthesizers use oscillators to create a tone. Sound Source synth uses strings.
