CUBASE 9?

As some of you may or not know I'm a fan of Cubase. Ive used the software  for many years now. Last week Steinberg were back with their latest version of Cubase: Cubase 9. The good thing is is that Steinberg listen to their users to find out what they would like in the next version.

Here are some of the new features:


  • 'LOWER ZONE' VIEW -You can have the mix console, midi or audio editors incorporated into the project window. (The 'Lower Zone' is resizable)
  • SAMPLER TRACK

  • HISTORY FUNCTION- You can now undo & redo in the 'Mixconsole'


  • FREQUENCY EQ- A brand new EQ with piano  roll
Cubase 9 comes with features too

I have to say i may probably upgrade to Cubase 9 next year. So far 2 of the new features that i mainly like is the: History Function' (Mixconsole) & new 'Frequency EQ'.

Anybody tried Cubase 9? What do you think?

BARBIE SOUNDTRACK! SUMMER DAYS? NEXG GUITAR!

Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my music blog. As you may be aware the 'BARBIE' movie was released last month (July 2023). The soundtrack is a recordbreaker. It is the first film soundtrack to have 3 Top 5 songs in the UK charts simultaneously: 'Dance The Night'-DUA LIPA 'What Was I Made For?'- BILLIE EILISH 'Barbie World- NICKI MINAJ, AQUA & ICE SPICE It has 6 songs from the soundtrack in the Top 40  The first film soundtrack to score 3 Top 10 hits simultaneously was 'SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER' (1978).
