RIP MEATLOAF!

Last week MARVIN LEE ADAY better known as MEATLOAF died. His singing career spanned over 6 decades, 100 million albums sold worldwide & starred in over 65 movies. That is an amazing career.

If you are a music lover you will of probably of heard of the album: BAT OUT OF HELL, released in 1977. Some of his  most famous songs were: 'Bat out of hell', 'Two out of three ain't bad' & 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light' (all taken from that album).

I remember when I was younger, we bought my dad a MEATLOAF DVD for Christmas. I will never forget that Christmas morning was mainly spent watching the video for: 'Dead Ringer for Love'-MEATLOAF & CHER. (I will say it is a good song & video)

I was about 14 when  MEATLOAF released the song: 'I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that)'. I remember it being No 1 in the charts for what seemed like ages. This was taken from his: 'BAT OUT OF HELL II' album released in 1993.

One of his most well know film roles was: 'EDDIE' in the 'ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW', released 1975. He also had parts in films such as: 'FIGHT CLUB', 'WAYNES WORLD' & SPICE THE MOVIE (Spice Girls)' etc.

Random fact about MEATLOAF. The song: 'Total Eclipse of the heart'-BONNIE TYLER, written by JIM STEINMAN (who also wrote: 'Bat out of Hell') was apparently going to be given to MEATLOAF to record (the record company passed).

Im sure MEATLOAF will be know as a rock icon

RIP MEATLOAF😞😞

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File  Key Commands  Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. You can row by row.  Here's a quick video tutorial : Hope this helps Until next time Law Official Website LW Music Services Twitter Facebook (Law) Facebook (LW Music Services) Youtube Instagram Soundbetter

Hi! Everyone, this week's FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK is the very talented  singer-songwriter, musician  & producer JELLY CLEAVER JELLY CLEAVER Please introduce yourself I’m a singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist and producer. I’m also an activist and this really influences my music and the lyrics I write. I love lots of different genres so have quite an eclectic style and like to throw myself into different music scenes. I’m really into the jazz scene and the punk/DIY scene in London at the moment.   How did you get into music? I started playing guitar as soon as I could hold one pretty much because my dad was a guitar teacher, and I’ve always had a really deep connection to music. I’ve tried lots of different aspects of music out though, from leading an African singing and drumming ensemble to starting a rock band. I just love music in all its forms.   What instruments do you play? Guitar’s my first instrument but when I’m recording my own mu
