£200 Album?

 KANYE WEST announced that is album: 'DONDA 2' will ONLY be released on what is called a STEM PLAYER.  

The STEM PLAYER is a piece of hardware that splits any song into stems. (yes you can put your own music on) So you can isolate the vocals, add effects etc. 

It also includes: 

  • Bluetooth
  • 4 touch sensitive light sliders
  • Speaker
  • USB C Power
  • 3.5mm Jack
  • 8GB Storage
  • It supports: Wav, Wave, Mp3, Mp4, AIFF, AIF, FLAC etc
It's currently available to purchase at around £200/ $200.

The device does sound a like a nice idea. I think its maybe a bit expensive for what it is. If you are KANYE WEST fan then yes its probably something you would like. As an artist myself (as well as a mix & mastering engineer) I will not be releasing any of music on a STEM PLAYER (Don't worry, lol).
