 Hi! Everyone & welcome back to my music blog. 

Recently I came across the website earth.fm. Now Earth FM is for people who like listening to natural soundscapes. There are various different soundscapes from around the world to choose from eg

  • Toads in Belgium
  • Brent Geese in The Netherlands
  • Toads on the Nile in Egypt 
  • Heart of the rainforest in Indonesia
  • Platypus Waterholes in Australia etc
If you like listening to natural soundscapes then this website could be for you.

Guitar effects pedal brand STRYMON are back with Version 2 of their pedals. STRYMON are known for their classic pedals such as: 'Blue Sky', 'Big Sky' & 'El Capistan' etc. Version 2 brings a few new features to some of their pedals. 

BITWIG are back with an updated version of their DAW: BITWIG STUDIO 4.3. Here are some of the new features:

  • DELAY+
  • CONVOLUTION-'Reverb'
  • POLYMER- 2 new Modules etc

Now, i'm sure most of us who music fans remembers good ole cds. Yes, i've still got mine & sometimes use a CD player. ROBERT HENKE (ABLETONS co-creator) said on Facebook that he might not release any more music on vinyl & use CD instead. Personally I think there is nothing wrong with that. I know some artists have released their music on cassettes recently. My first album was released on CD. (Click here ). Maybe cds will make a bit of a comeback. Who knows?

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File  Key Commands  Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously.
