STEPPING OUT OF THE SLATE? CLEARAUDIO JUBILEE? MUSIC UPDATE!

 Hi! Everyone & welcome back to my music blog. 

YAMAHA are back with their 'Stepping out of the Slate' project. At the moment they have 4 ideas:

  • TURN T- A portable speaker like a 'turntable'. Place the 'tonearm' on your smartphone. The music plays like 'vinyl'
  • WINDER- A music box key that will connect with your smartphone. When it's wound up it will play 'one' song 
  • MUSICLIGHT- This is a 'Candle' that when lit up plays music from your smartphone. To stop the music just blow the candle out.
  • RHYTHMBOT- This is 4 tiny ' Robot' metronomes that helps performers whilst they are playing music. All the robots have a unique acoustic sound. Again, they can be linked to your smartphone 
If you are fan of vinyl & looking for a high-end turntable then CLEARAUDIO JUBILEE TURNTABLE might be for you. This is a take on the ‘Original’ reference turntable they released in the 80s. The design is boomerang shaped. The price? Get ready for this… around £17.500 (no I’ve not added an extra nought by mistake,lol) 

Music update- I’m still working on new music etc (Writing, re-writing etc). I’m currently working on a new song that will be exclusive on Bandcamp (Stay tuned!). I’m also mixing & mastering for clients etc.

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File  Key Commands  Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. PEDAL STEEL SYNTH?

Synthesizers use oscillators to create a tone. Sound Source synth uses strings.
