NEW GUITAR! A STROLLING PIANO? MUSE NFT ? A MUSICAL?

Hi! Everyone & welcome back to my music blog. Recently I decided to buy a new guitar. (There's nothing wrong with my old guitar. I just wanted a bit of a change). The good thing is is that i'm playing guitar a lot more now. Im really enjoying it. Ive played guitar on & off for years. It's been great playing guitar again (The cheesy 80s etc,😂😂)

Also, for many years I play piano/ keyboards. I have to say i've never played a piano whilst its moving. However, there is now a piano called: 'The Strolling Piano'. This is a mobile piano that you can perform, sing etc whilst moving around the audience. The piano includes:

  • HD Video Screen
  • PA System (Concealed for up to 500 guests) or can be connected to a PA system for a larger audience
  • Internal battery lasts up to 8 hours

It does look really good & fun to play.

The band MUSE are the first to top the UK charts with the album 'Will of the people' as a NFT (non- fungible token). MUSE are not the first to release an album in NFT format. Rapper AITCH debut album was the first got to No 2.

Recently, I mastered the audio for an exciting project. It was a soundtrack to a musical called: 'My sons a Queer' by ROB MADGE. I enjoyed mastering the soundtrack & working with some very talented people including: Pippa Cleary & Simon Nathan. The show is to be shown at the Garrick Theatre, West End, London in Oct 2022. Tickets available here . The Soundtrack will be released soon.

Until next time

FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK: JELLY CLEAVER

Hi! Everyone, this week's FEATURED ARTIST OF THE WEEK is the very talented  singer-songwriter, musician  & producer JELLY CLEAVER JELLY CLEAVER Please introduce yourself I’m a singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist and producer. I’m also an activist and this really influences my music and the lyrics I write. I love lots of different genres so have quite an eclectic style and like to throw myself into different music scenes. I’m really into the jazz scene and the punk/DIY scene in London at the moment.   How did you get into music? I started playing guitar as soon as I could hold one pretty much because my dad was a guitar teacher, and I’ve always had a really deep connection to music. I’ve tried lots of different aspects of music out though, from leading an African singing and drumming ensemble to starting a rock band. I just love music in all its forms.   What instruments do you play? Guitar’s my first instrument but when I’m reco...
