STEINBERG recently announced HALION 7. What are the new features:

  • NEW MIXER
  • APPLE SILICON SUPPORT
  • NO NEED FOR A DONGLE 
I'll be honest i've never really been much of a fan the interface for HALION but I think the latest version looks a lot better. 

If you have a license for CUBASE 12 you should be able to upgrade from HALION SONIC SE to HALION SONIC 7 for free. (I'm not sure  if it works with previous versions of Cubase). I have upgraded & not experienced any problems. If you have HALION 6 you can upgrade for around £85, if you purchased HALION 6 on 6th November 2022 or after you should be able to upgrade for free (Go to 'My Steinberg' account & click on vouchers). You can also upgrade from HALION 3-5 at around £171.

 Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my music blog. Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me & my music over the past year. A huge thank you to everyone who has read this blog, streamed/ purchased my music, continued to support me etc😃😃.  I'll be honest its been very tough year for me due to personal reasons. However, I did finally release my ' Miami 1984' EP which i'm very pleased about (Featuring a song with the talented songwriter Niamh Quinn).
