LOGIC PRO X FOR IPAD! NEW SYNTHS? RIP TINA TURNER!

 Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my blog. 

APPLE have announced that LOGIC PRO X is finally coming to iPad. It features;

  • Over 100 instruments
  • Effect Plugins (eg. EQ, Compressor, reverb etc)
  • Synth (Including 'Sample Alchemy')
  • Beat Making Tools (including 'Beat Designer')
  • Mixer
  • Multi-Touch
  • Import & Export
It does look really good. However, it is only available on subscription. It's around £4.99 per month or £49 per year.  Hmmmm! I don't think I'll be getting that anytime soon. Its a shame that Apple have decided to choose subscription for it. 

KORG have announced a limited edition of the KORG MICROKORG to celebrate 20 years of when it was first released. This is the 'Microkorg Crystal'. The chassis is semi-transparent. It does look really nice. I have played a Microkorg in the past. Price is around €539. (Units could be available in a few months).


UDO are back & have announced their second synth called  'SUPER GEMINI'.  It features:

  • 20 Voice Polyphony
  • 61 semi-weighted keys
  • Bi-timbral analogue-hybrid instrument
  • 256 performance & patch slots


RIP TINA TURNER!- 

I think the first song that I remember liking from Tina Turner was: 'The Best' (Released 1989. Original released by 'Bonnie Tyler'). It reached No.5 in the UK charts. As  I got older I remember hearing her other hits on 'Top of the Pops'. I remember as a teenager liking the song: 'Goldeneye' (Taken from 'James Bond' film). At uni in 1999 I remember liking the song: 'When the heartache is over'. I think i've always liked Tina Turner & her music. As i've got older i've listened to a lot more of her music eg.  'Proud Mary' (when that song plays you can't help but feel the need to do the dance), 'Nutbush City Limits', ' River Deep, Mountain High' etc. Not only was she a great singer but an amazing entertainer. Ive watched the 'Live at Wembley' concert (2000). That is fantastic concert. One of my favourite songs is: 'Silent Wings'. I think that is a beautiful song. Tina: The 'Queen of Rock and Roll'. A legend. 😢😢

BARBIE SOUNDTRACK! SUMMER DAYS? NEXG GUITAR!

Hi! Everyone, Hope you are all ok. Welcome back to my music blog. As you may be aware the 'BARBIE' movie was released last month (July 2023). The soundtrack is a recordbreaker. It is the first film soundtrack to have 3 Top 5 songs in the UK charts simultaneously: 'Dance The Night'-DUA LIPA 'What Was I Made For?'- BILLIE EILISH 'Barbie World- NICKI MINAJ, AQUA & ICE SPICE It has 6 songs from the soundtrack in the Top 40  The first film soundtrack to score 3 Top 10 hits simultaneously was 'SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER' (1978).
