 TASCAM have announced: 'MIXCAST 4', which is an all-in-one podcasting studio.

It features:

  • 4 Microphone inputs
  • 4 Headphone outputs
  • Bluetooth Interface 
  • 8 Illuminated coloured pads
  • Factory Sound bank (you can create your own)
  • 4 pin TRRS connection 
  • FX (Reverb & Distortion)
  • 5" Touch Display
  • Record via SD Card or USB
  • Software for Mac & PC to mix & edit podcast etc
(The price is around £579)

This does look like a good podcasting studio. Some good features & it's portable. If you are looking to start your own podcast then the 'MIXCAST 4' might be worth looking at at

CUBASE & LOGIC PRO X- BYPASS ALL PLUGINS!

A few weeks ago someone posted in Facebook group about how to Bypass ALL plugins in Cubase 8.5. (As some of you may know i use Cubase 8.5 in the main studio). It's a lot quicker than turning off each individual plugin. Here's how to do this: CUBASE- Go to File  Key Commands  Mixer (Section) Bypass Inserts Type in box a key (e.g. B etc) Assign OK When you press that key all plugins should be bypassed on the mixer LOGIC PRO X- As far as i know at the moment you cannot just press one button/ key & turn all the plugins off simultaneously. PEDAL STEEL SYNTH?
