LIFE GOES ON!

 Hi! Everyone. Well, it's a been a while since THE SOLAR PROJECT have released any music. THE SOLAR PROJECT are back with a brand new song called: 'Life Goes On'.

Firstly I would like to say thank you to everyone for their patience & kind support 😃😃

The song started back in Summer 2018. I had quite a bit written. I felt something was missing. I out it to one side & kept coming back to it. Maybe I was overthinking it, I don't know. It was'nt until this year that I finally decided to release the song.

The video contains videos & photos of trips to Birmingham (Between 2013-2018). I use to go to Birmingham sometimes once a month for years on the train. I used to enjoy visiting the various different places etc. Since the pandemic I've not been. When things start getting a lot better I will probably have another trip to Birmingham.

When mixing you need to create space. It's so easy to keep adding different instruments when recording. However, when it comes to mixing you'll probably end up with 2 or more instruments fighting for the same frequency. So what do you do? Well, Firstly it depends on the instruments. Sometimes you may have to be harsh & think: "Do i really need these 2 parts or can i mute one (or even delete)?" This is what i normally do. Now maybe you're thinking: "What about using EQ?" Or "Why not use panning?" Yes i could use these tools. However is this additional sound going to add anything to the mix? Is this part necessary? If not, then im afraid the part either gets muted or deleted. A few days ago i was recording some vocals, for a middle 8 (on a new song).
